Now entering its fourth month without a winner, the Elk Burger Challenge offered by Elk's Lodge No. 1430 in Ventura consists of 5 pounds of beef on a bun served with 10 slices of cheese plus lettuce, pickle, onion, tomato, one pound of fries and for dessert, 2 cups of banana pudding. Those who think they can eat all that in 60 minutes or less pay an entry fee of $25 to give it a try. Winners will receive $100 cash and his/her picture on the Hall of Fame at the Lodge.
