A brush fire Friday burned more than 78 acres in Moorpark, but no structures were threatened, authorities said. The fire was 60 percent contained by about 6:30 p.m., just over six hours after it began along westbound Highway 118 at Collins Drive, officials said. Authorities expected to have the blaze fully contained by midnight, said Ron Oatman, a Ventura County Fire Department spokesman.
