A local agency dedicated to the developmentally disabled says the Gold Coast Health Plan has suspended services like home health care and home nursing, services that were previously covered by Medi-Cal. The issue emerges as Medi-Cal plans across the state come under fire for not providing access to people with chronic conditions and for removing some patients from organ transplant waiting lists.
