Rich Romine, youth sports page editor for The Star, has been a journalist in Ventura County for 33 years. Prior to working for The Star, he was a sportswriter and editor for 19 years with The Press-Courier in Oxnard. Romine covers Ventura Raceway and does a local weekly notebook on the local racers. He also covers high school and college sports teams.
