The company was bought by Dole Food in 2004. The California Strawberry Commission and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo have reached agreement to create the first Strawberry Sustainability Research and Education Center. This partnership will draw on many disciplines, with innovation and applied research to focus on the sustainability, growth and success of California strawberry farming, and rooted in the 'Learn by Doing' culture at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.01/15/13 Oxnard, Ca
