Ventura City Hazmat firefighter Andres Espinosa takes a sample of a petroleum-like substance discovered flowing into Ventura Harbor from the Arundell Barranca on Wednesday morning. The source was traced as far back to a drain by an industrial park at Arundell Circle but firefighters were pulled off their search for the source when a brush fire broke out at another site in Ventura. Determination of the hazardous material's source will be continued by the Ventura County Watershed Protection District and the U.S. Coast Guard, according to Ventura City Fire Chief David Ednaya.
