  • Oceano Dunes is the only California state park where vehicles are allowed to drive on the beach. Dune buggies, trailers and miniature motorcycles lined the beach.
  • The Oceano Campground is near a variety of restaurants and places to visit. The Pismo Nature Center on the campground features exhibits on birds, animals, Monarch butterflies, the freshwater lagoon, native plants and Chumash culture.
