It was as simple as a pizza delivery. Carol Heyer had been trying to figure out how to illustrate the character of Robin Hood for her next book. 'I always went shopping for faces,' said the Thousand Oaks author and illustrator. 'And there he was, standing 6 feet 5 with this long, brown hair.'
