OWEN YOSHIMOTO

CAMARILLO

The 6-foot-2 outside hitter made the jump from very good to superstar in his final high school season. A veritable hitting machine, he set a program record with 530 kills, including a team-standard 41 in a single match. He was also the key reason why the Scorpions finished 29-6-1, won the Pacific View League title and reached the CIF-Southern Section Division 3 championship match. The Star’s Player of the Year is also a first-team, all-CIF-SS selection and the league’s MVP. He loves surfing and beach volleyball, and enjoys eating corn dogs.
