An Oxnard man who died Friday night after being shot along the 1900 block of Napoleon Avenue in Oxnard was identified Saturday, officials said.
The Ventura County Medical Examiner's Office said 18-year-old Javier Garcia was found dead. His autopsy is scheduled for Monday, officials said.
Officers responded about 9:05 p.m. to reports of multiple shots fired on Napoleon, Oxnard police said.
Garcia was found shot, authorities said. Emergency responders attempted to save Garcia, but he died of his injuries, officials said.
Investigators said early Saturday that they had several leads and motives for the homicide.

The city of Oxnard offers a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect in homicide cases, police said.
