Authorities were looking for a man that they suspect tried to kill another man with his pickup at a gas station Thursday afternoon along Highway 126.

Investigators said the pair had been arguing at about 5:30 p.m. at the service station at Main Street and Highway 126 in Piru, when one man allegedly ran over the other with his pickup before fleeing.

The injured man, a 30-year-old from Fillmore, was taken to Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura with broken legs.

Investigators, meanwhile, said they were looking for a light gray 2004 or 2005 Ford F-150 pickup with license plate number 7F57886.

Investigators said they suspect a Rosario Palmeria, also of Fillmore, in his early 30s, was the driver of the pickup.
