Man crushed by machinery at Haas Automation

A 56-year-old man suffered multiple injuries this afternoon after being crushed in machinery at Haas Automation in Oxnard, authorities said.

The Oxnard Fire Department reported it responded about 3:45 p.m. to Haas Automation in the 2800 block of Sturgis Road and found the man crushed within the machinery.

The equipment was carefully removed from the man by about 4:05 p.m., and he was taken to Ventura County Medical Center with multiple injuries, authorities said. Further details were not available.
