CLU's Friedman named an all-star

California Lutheran freshman Matt Friedman has been named to the Pacific West Baseball League's College All-Star team. The game is scheduled for this week in Fresno.

Friedman, a right-handed pitcher, plays for the Alameda Merchants.

The 19-year-old is 2-0 with a 1.90 ERA in 21 innings.
