Simi Valley police were looking for a vehicle Tuesday night that fled the scene of an accident after it collided with another vehicle near Cordero Avenue and Cochran Street.
Police said the vehicle also may have struck a pedestrian as it was leaving the scene, although they could not confirm that this had happened.
The pedestrian was said to be only slightly injured.
Witnesses told police the two vehicles stopped at the scene of the accident. Both parties got out of the vehicles and were in the process of taking photos of the vehicles and exchanging information when one of the parties abruptly got back into the vehicle and took off, witnesses told police.
Police had a description of the vehicle along with a possible license plate number.
The collision occurred about 9:18Â p.m.
