Shoe store near Ventura burglarized

A shoe store outside Ventura was burglarized Sunday night, authorities said.

The burglary was discovered when sheriff's deputies responded about 9:40 p.m. to an alarm and found a window smashed at Red Wing Shoes, 4708 Vineyard Ave., said sheriff's Capt. Don Aguilar.

Property had been taken from the business. No arrests had been made, Aguilar said.
