A 30-year-old Oxnard man was robbed at gunpoint Sunday morning, police said.
The man went to open the Gold & Jewelry Emporium, 714 N. Ventura Road, about 9:40 a.m. when he heard someone follow him into the business, police said. He turned around and saw a man pointing a black semi-automatic handgun who demanded money.
The gunman left the area with an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry, police said.
The incident is being investigated and anyone with information may call the Violent Crimes Hotline at 385-7070.
