Two vendors were robbed at gunpoint today in Thousand Oaks, Ventura County sheriff's officials said.
The incident occurred about 5:15 p.m. near the intersection of Los Feliz Drive and Thousand Oaks Boulevard, said sheriff's Capt. Paul Higgason.
The fruit and vegetable vendors were in their truck when two men approached them and demanded money, Higgason said.
One of the robbers pulled out a gun and the victims gave the robbers about $300, Higgason said.
The suspects ran away and were last seen leaving the scene in a brown van, Higgason said.
Responding deputies searched the area but were unable to find the suspects, Higgason said.
The incident is under investigation.
