Plane headed to Camarillo airport lands safely

A small Cessna plane that was headed to the Camarillo airport with gear problems landed safely this afternoon.

The Ventura County Fire Department was monitoring the plane as a precaution about 5:30 p.m.

It was unclear if the landing was scheduled or an emergency, but no one was injured in the incident, officials said.
