Kids have fun at the Summer Camp provided by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Conejo & Las Virgenes.  Kids can choose from a number of activities from water sports to arts & crafts to outdoor and overnight adventures.

Kids have fun at the Summer Camp provided by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Conejo & Las Virgenes. Kids can choose from a number of activities from water sports to arts & crafts to outdoor and overnight adventures.

It’s not too early to make those summer plans! The Boys & Girls Clubs of Conejo & Las Virgenes invite families to get a jump-start on scheduling their youth summer activities. The Boys & Girls Clubs will provide 11-weeks of action-packed summer camps for ages 3-14 at Club locations in Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park. Campers can choose to attend all summer sessions or register for a few weeks at a time.

This Summer Camp Sign-Up Event will be held on Saturday, March 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Marion & John E. Anderson Youth Center, located on the campus of Los Cerritos Middle School, 1980 E. Avenida de las Flores in Thousand Oaks. While registering for Summer Camp 2012, families can enjoy complimentary hot dogs, chips and juice. Kids can also shoot down a 40-foot dual lane inflatable slide and climb through the 68-foot obstacle course, plus win prizes in carnival games.

Whether its sports, water activities, computers, arts and crafts, amusement parks, camping, horseback riding or other areas of interest, the Summer Camps are filled with a variety of choices for youth to learn while having fun. Camp options include Traditional Day Camp, Traveling Camp, Sports Camp, Resident Camp-Out Adventures in Mammoth and Wrightwood, a Counselor-In-Training Program for grades 10-12 and Sunday Soccer Sports League for ages 3-8.
