Gull Wings Children’s Museum to host super hero breakfast

Oxnard, CA. – February 13, 2012 – On Saturday, February 25th from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Gull Wings Children’s Museum will be hosting a Super Hero's Breakfast to kick off the year-long celebration of their 25th anniversary. The breakfast is free with paid admission. They will raffle off great prizes, and awards will be given for best costumes. Museum admission is $6 for adults and $5 for children. Gull Wings Children’s Museum’s first board of directors met in 1987, committed to bringing a fun, educational, and hands-on experience to the children of Ventura County. Through their hard work and dedication, they were able to found our unique institution, which first opened its doors in downtown Oxnard a little over a year later. 25 years on, the current board is hosting and sponsoring this event to introduce more families to the museum.

“I would like to share how excited I am about this particular event,” says Ruben Clement, Gull Wings Interim Executive Director, “not only will it be a fun event for the children where they will get to dress up as their favorite super hero and enjoy all of the exhibits and events of the day, but it is the first in a series of events that will take place over the next 12 months as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the museum.”
