Simi Valley Police golf tourney today

The 19th Annual Simi Valley Police Golf Tournament is taking place today at Lost Canyons Golf Club.

This is the former Paws for Paws Tournament and is the main source of funding for the Simi Valley Police K-9 Unit. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit two causes - The Simi Valley Police Foundation, which will be replacing two of the dogs this next year at a cost of more than $25,000 each; including training of the officer and dog; and the Simi Sunrise Rotary Charitable Foundation for their ongoing Youth Scholarship Program.

Check-in starts at 9:30 am including a Putting Contest.
