Description
This is Tennessee Williams' first successful play, and it hit Broadway by storm in 1945 winning Best Play awards. Often considered an autobiographical drama, it was based on Williams' own short stories. The title refers to his sister Laura's collection of glass figures, one of which is broken the night that an engaged man kisses her. It marks a breaking up of the family.PLEASE NOTE: There will be no performance on October 31, but there will be an additional performance at 7 pm on November 1.
