Ventura County's poor and uninsured
More than one in 10 Ventura County residents lived in poverty in 2010, and more than one of five working-age adults lacked health insurance. The individual median income was $31,062. The county tallies come from a U.S. Census Bureau survey released today, which shows also that most of the numbers didn't grow worse from 2009 and other regions fared worse.
